Description: This workshop offers participants an opportunity to consider how a queer perspective might be better represented and/or acknowledge in any environment—school, workplace, and/or rehearsal hall. We talk broadly about our own assumptions and our own biases, as well as offering concrete tips for integration and modeling in instruction and facilitation. While there is no definitive ‘training’ to encourage an inclusive environment, this workshop is a starting point.
