The TDSB Arts Department, in collaboration with the Aboriginal Education Centre, presented the Arts Co-op performance Intersections, a collectively-created anthology-style performance by secondary students from across the TDSB. The program aims to build cross-cultural understanding through active, intensive engagement in creation and performance. I worked with a company of 12 students of diverse backgrounds, alongside their incredible teacher Naomi Savage. This powerful piece then toured to middle schools throughout the board, as well as at Young People’s Theatre as a part of the DARE2CREATE Festival.
